JohnBoy McComas promises to entertain for the first round. He says Ruben Castillo looks like an easy win. McComan does not think Castillo is ready to fight him. McComas will be going toe-to-toe with Castillo on Jan. 26, 2018, for Real MMA XVI.

McComas’ nickname may be the Outlaw, but he is a lethal weapon in the ring, knocking out opponents in 13, 31, and 35 seconds. He has only lost one fight.

He grew up watching MMA and just wanted to fight. He got into a gym, but traveled different gyms to remain competitive. McComas is a confident fighter. He says Castillo keeps his hands down and is not a confident striker. McComas is more of a technical fighter and has a strong stand-up game. He trains Muay Thai, Jui-jitsu, wrestling, boxing, and kickboxing. He says he is always ready for a fight.

McComas would eagerly take a title match if it were offered. He says he is very competitive and is ready for a second shot.  He has lost one fight and it was for a title. McComas wore himself out chasing his opponent around the ring.
