Smash Global presents Smash VII, a black-tie fight night. “With professional mixed arts as our stage and a black-tie gala as the backdrop, SMASH Global delivers a unique experience that is one-part sporting event, one-part networking, one-part award ceremony, and all parts class and sophistication.”

Real MMA’s own Rudy Morales will be fighting in the main event on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018. He will be fighting for the win and against bullying. He said he is putting his health and his body into the antibullying campaign for this black-tie event.

Founder of Smash Global Steve Orosco is a former broker on Wall Street and a professional MMA fighter. He saw an opportunity to create entertainment/sporting events for a premium clientele by raising the level of class and sophistication. He is uniquely equipped with an MBA, MS degree, and professional fighting experience to head and manage the MMA events organization.

Orosco said: “I believe that the sport of MMA has grown so fast in such a short period of time that the crowd hasn’t evolved with it. MMA was built on a ‘NASCAR’ feel and it’s my goal to package the sport for the ‘Formula One’ crowd.”

The company was founded on four tenets:

  1. Mixed martial arts is an exciting form of entertainment and the future of combat sports
  2. Networking is the most important driver to create new business opportunities
  3. It is of the utmost importance to honor those who have made a significant impact in the world of combat sports
  4. SMASH Global believes in supporting a cause and giving back to the underserved and less fortunate
