In the history of MMA before modern weaponry was introduced into modern warfare, every dominant culture practiced age old martial arts. Martial arts did not discriminate because both Eastern and Western cultures practiced a fatal form of combat.

If the nations of the Ancient World did not practice martial arts, they simply could not survive in a vile world. In the course of time, most of the civilizations across Eurasia also developed combat sports. The sport kept the unruly mobs entertained during peace time and the warriors ready for wartime.

Unfortunately for the West martial arts were not inherited from one generation to the next. However, it was for the East. The West fought with firearms, and the East fought with skill and bronze.

MMA has a long and fruitful history and heritage in nations across the globe. The deadly art form has a history of nations such as Japan, Greece, the United States, Brazil, and Thailand.

Reports of techniques of empty hand fighting that were trained by Ancient Sumer and Mesopotamia soldiers date from 3,000 B.C. to 2,300 B.C. The history of martial arts also said that as of 3,000 B.C. hieroglyphic inscriptions were engraved of Ancient Egyptians practicing martial arts. In the gambling mecca of Las Vegas the art form has been brought to the modern age, for the modern day masses to see.
